A Farewell to Fretting..phew!!
Sooo I don't know about you guys, but I actually had a LOT of fun writing this parody and was stressing over nothing..phew!! I thought it would be impossible to mimic this wonderful author's techniques but I am surprisingly proud with my work. It was kind of a way to take a breather over the heavy topic of the book, yet still staying focused. I think we should have more assignments like these, what do you guys think??? :)

creative writing assignments are always, always the best. after i ate dinner, i swear i caught myself thinking "i just had some baked ziti. and it was good."

Creative writing stresses me out. I feel like its supposed to be fun so I put pressure on myself to have fun then I just freak out and fail.
ReplyDeletehaha taylor, Ernie would be proud :), and yea nicki I do that to, but next time try like throwing up your thoughts on paper, it works, at least it works for me, but it might just be my entirely wacky mind haha
ReplyDeletei agree with taylor! the assignment was fun to do and it really gave me a chance to use what i've learned about Hemingway's style in my own way. i hope there are more creative writing projects like this to come!
